I have read on several online forums that this will not work. Apparently something gets installed somewhere else and "re-installs" itself. Are you 100% sure this will work?

Did you purchase the computer new from an Apple store?
Did you install and activate Computrace?
What is the reason for needing to remove it?

I purchased this laptop from a craigslist ad and the person I purchased it from is no longer responding to my text messages or emails but it seems as though this software is installed on it....
