My IPAD seems locked up. The screen went black and nothing

Resolved Question:

My IPAD seems locked up. The screen went black and nothing I could do to bring it to life. I plugged it in and now I have a frozen apple and a circular rotating circle just below it.
What do you think? Should I go to the local Apple store in the morning?

Hi - I will be happy to assist you with this.

In this situation, it's best to do a hard restart (don’t worry; you won’t lose any data).

Please go ahead and hold the Home button (on the bottom center) and the Power button at the same time for 10-15 seconds...

Then you should be back up and running; thank you.

Let me know how it goes - I will be standing by. Thank you.
