Hi,

I am Vinod. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.

Can you please describe the issue a bit more? Did you mean you want to delete the email addresses from your contacts?

Thank You
Vinod

on my iphone. if i start typing an address on an email i am sending from my iphone, all similar email addresses, which i have sent emails to in the past, pop up. there are several that i want to delete so they no longer "pop up." how do i delete unwanted email addresses from my iphone?

Unfortunately, there is no way to clear such messages. Those addresses are autosaved.

But I think removing them from your computer can help.

who is your email provider? gmail, yahoo etc?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
they are not on my computer, just my iphone. any way to turn off the autosave?
Expert:  Vinod Menon replied 5 years ago.
unfortunately, there is no such settings. But a third party software (trial versions) might help. I just browsed the apple discussions forum. Have a look at this.

But I think another way would be to sign in to your email from your computer. Go to contacts list in that and you would be able to find all your unwanted addresses there. Delete from there, sign out of the mail and now check in your iphone.

Then you will have to rely on some third party softwares, unfortunately..:(

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
is there any third party software you are aware of that will solve my query?
Expert:  Vinod Menon replied 5 years ago.
I have not experienced with any thus far, but the web address I sent you earlier (I am sending it again), mentions about ibackupbot. I am not sure whether it helps.

just try with the trial version, don't buy it.

I am also opting out here, so that other experts can help you. They may know about a better third party software
