Hi My name isXXXXX hope i can help you.

You have to upgrade to 10.6 Snow Leopard first. Then you can purchase 10.7 Lion directly from Snow Leopard's AppStore application.

Before purchasing Snow Leopard and Lion, make sure your Mac can handle them both. See the system requirements below;

Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard System Requirements
  • Mac computer with an Intel processor
  • 1GB of memory
  • 5GB of available disk space
  • DVD drive for installation

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion System Requirements
  • Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
  • 2GB of memory
  • OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
  • 7GB of available space
