Hi My name isXXXXX hope i can help you.

Is your Printer is Wireless ? Is it connected to the Wireless Network ?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Yes, the printer is wireless and is connected to the home network. It is a Kodak 2170 and I have used it wirelessly to print from a laptop.
Expert:  Ashik replied 5 years ago.
There are many apps that you can use to Print from your iPad. PrintCentral is the best application for Printing from iPad directly to Printer : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/printcentral-for-ipad/id366020849?mt=8

Here is another one, Print : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/print-printing-for-everyday/id299423224?mt=8

And here is the Official and Free printing application from Kodak : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/kodak-pic-flick/id336104814?mt=8

Let me know if that didn't worked. Only click Accept after it worked.

Best Regards,
Ashik

Loaded Print Central, going through setup, the test print seems to be connecting with the Printer but is showing "printer busy". The printer screen indicates "Printing" but it is not printing. I printed a document from my laptop wirelessly and it printed without A problem. I could not shut down printer except by pulling plug. Can we speak by phone? XXX-XXX-XXXX

Expert:  Ashik replied 5 years ago.
No, JustAnswer won't allow us to talk with phone. Unplug the power cable, and try to print again. Also, did you tried the Kodak application ?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I have tried unplugging several times.

The Kodak link you sent seems to be one for printing photos.
Expert:  Ashik replied 5 years ago.
Does it prints from the Kodak application ? Try it, its free.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
No, it does not work
Expert:  Ashik replied 5 years ago.
Sounds like the Printer is incompatible with iPad. I will opt out and send this question to other experts. If they have any idea, they will get back to you.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

Your Kodak 2170 All in One Printer is compatible with the iPad2 using the Kodak Pic Flick App.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
According to Kodak the 2170 will print photos from the iPad but will not print text. If you are aware of a method to enable the 2170 to print text please tell me.
Expert:  Pete replied 5 years ago.
It is not possible to print text from an iPad to that particular printer.
Most of the fully compatible printers are made by Hewlett Packard. Look for an Airprint-compatible printer.
Here is a list of Airprint-compatible printers:
