I have a user name on my ipad that is my daughter, I need to

Resolved Question:

I have a user name on my ipad that is my daughter, I need to remove it or find a way for the thing to stop using that when I try to use itunes or app store. How can this be changed?

okay great, tap Settings on your iPad

OSXpert :

then scroll down and tap Store

Customer:

Ok

OSXpert :

you should see the account that you're currently logged in as on this screen, tap "Sign Out"

OSXpert :

You can then put in your Apple ID / Password XXXXX start making purchases on your own iTunes acount

Customer:

Where do I find the "sign out"

Did you tap Store?

Okay -- what do you see on your screen now?

On the right is the 3 apps, music, apps, books unde that is a box with Apple [email protected]

Hit the home button (round button, bottom of the screen) to return to the home screen

Then tap the Settings icon

On the left-hand side of the window that should now be on the screen, tap Store. You should have a screen that looks like this:

I don't get that, it is already showing the sign in Apple ID, would I be able to change the sign in?

Okay good, tap Sign In and type in your Apple ID

I did not get the option to sign in, only Use existing or Create a new...

Okay, tap Use Existing

YES, I got it

good, did you type in your Apple ID / password?

Customer:

Yes Thank you.

excellent. You should now be signed in with your Apple ID and you should be able to make purchases on your account. If you need to change back to your daughter's Apple ID in the future, you can use the same steps that you just followed
