I will do my best to help you, the only stupid question is the unasked one.

Does it sound like it is trying to come out and just can't quite make it?
If so then take a playing or 3x5 card, fold in half and insert the open ends about 1/2 inch into the slot and try the eject key. This will help guide it through the slot and you may be able to grab it and help it the rest of the way.
