How can I move the contents of my Yahoo Mail folders - all

Customer Question

How can I move the contents of my Yahoo Mail folders - all the e-amils I've saved over the years- onto my desktop? Is there any way to move a folder all at once, so I don't have to go in and copy each individual e-amil in a folder? That would take hours. I need to be able to access them on my desktop for a book I'm writing and will be somewhere where I cannot get online to access them. Thank you!

Hi there my name is XXXXX XXXXX i have just been reading your problem you are haveing, I see you would like to save your currant emails onto your desktop, for somethink like this you might need an Email migration tool there are lots out there free ones and paid version and diffrent ones might be better or worse ,for an example here is one with free 30 days trial http://www.mailstore.com/en/mailstore-server-migration.aspx?keyword=aw-en-suche-uk-email-migration but other ones might be able to do more features for you and some might not , some people use this insted of going direct to yahoo they go through outlook and they can save emails through outlook some people recomend this http://ypopsemail.com/ ill have another look around for you and see if anythink else pops up

Hello and welcome to justanswer.com my name is XXXXX XXXXX I'm here to help you with your computer question.

The cheapest and easiest method is to upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus for $20/yr

http://overview.mail.yahoo.com/enhancements/mailplus

You can then configure your MAC email client to download your POP emails.

A very important warning is to set your email client to "leave a copy of mail on server" otherwise all of your email will be cleared out from the Yahoo mail server and it will be very difficult to get it back if not impossible!

Relist: Inaccurate answer. I do not want to save the e-mails! I feel that my question was no thoroughly read. I want to MOVE THE FOLDERS that I have created and which contain e-mails I have saved inot these folders over the many years I have had Yahoo. I do not understand either of the responses, as I have already upgraded to XXXXX and neither answer addresses how it is possible to TRANSFER FOLDERS, FOLDERS FOLDERS! Also, very important that I am on a MAC and not a PC, as the last question that was answered told me to download Malwarebytes for spam protection which I spent four hours trying to do, and it isn't available for MACS!! I am just getting so frustrated. There is no way to contact any tech support at Yahoo and I am trying to find out if I can transfer entire folders of saved e-mails which are now in the folder section of my e-mails. I want to transfer the content of all of these folders onto my DESKTOP without having to go in and copy each individual saved e-amil in each individual folder, which would take many many hours. I want to transfer the FOLDERS AND THEIR CONTENTS to my Desktop.I don't know how to be clearer than that!! Will somebody please read this thoroughly and help? Thank you!
