would love to know --

JACUSTOMER-xdc36myv- :

i've had to reinstall and it's taken 3 days to download a lot of old email

Mac Extraordinaire :

Ok, thank you for the update.

Mac Extraordinaire :

What is the status of this problem?

JACUSTOMER-xdc36myv- :

i have it fixed, but i wish I could have had an option that didn't require me totally deleting the mailbox and reinstalling it......if there is a solution, I'd love to know what else to try in case it happens again

Mac Extraordinaire :

hello

Mac Extraordinaire :

As you may understand, it is hard for me to analyze a problem that no longer exists.

Mac Extraordinaire :

Generally speaking, the way to fix the problem is to verify the correct configuration settings are in place and that the Mac Firewall is not blocking access to any of the ports setup in the Mac Mail program.

JACUSTOMER-xdc36myv- :

As I'm sure you understand, since I fixed the problem myself, I would rather not pay $38. If I had more information than when I started or if I could learn how to skirt around this next time, then I'd go ahead and pay for input. But since you're right, it doesn't make sense to try and help me now....how do I get out of this with my $38 in tact and no more hassle for you?

Mac Extraordinaire :

I will write up the refund request and send it up.

Mac Extraordinaire :

You have a good day :)

JACUSTOMER-xdc36myv- :

Thanks, you too!
