it is very simple. I will walk you through the steps.
First of all, we need to change the itunes store password since the password you use does not work. For that, just go to http://iforgot.apple.com and change the password. Then on the iphone, go to settings > store and sign in to your account. Once you are signed in, click on your account name, then click on "view apple id". Now you will be taken to the account page where itunes store country will be listed. Change that to US, if it is already on UK
