not every site...usually after going one or two levels and most often with ad or featured /sites. For example I have been looking at travel sites like Expedia etc and when I go two or three deep into a 'hotel' or choose a right hand column paid site I get the error. . I hope this is clear. Other times just from the google browser in Chrome I will randomly get that error. I can't pinpoint in every instance a common thread other than what I have described. Thank you

You can change the default DNS servers of your Mac to Open DNS, follow the instructions in here :

Namaste..Goto Macintosh HD > Users > your username > Library > Preferences folder and can you see any files in there related to Chrome ? It should be like com.apple.chrome.plist

Macintosh HD is your hard disk. It may have another name like Mac HD, My HD etc

No need to trash the Application. Just trash that chrom.apple.chrom.plist file and restart Chrome.

sorry to tell you but it did not work...seems to be an older version? anyway...the test I ran was to open something in the AD column on the right side of the google screen...two worked one gave me the error message. can you work on it and send me an email wi;t;h either a solution or a way to get back to you in a day or so?
