Customer Question

Hi, I am using iWeb 3.0.2 to create a web site. When publishing a preview to Firefox 3.6.13 browser it does not display the page correctly ( the fonts are unreadable) however the same page previews perfectly OK in Safari browser ( I am using web safe fonts) The problem seems to be between iWeb and Firefox. Is there a patch for this version of iWeb?
I found a patch for an earlier version of iweb (2008) but not the current one. Any ideas?

thanks, Steve

First let‘s check some things:

Please go to the Apple logo on the upper left of the screen, go to About This Mac, and tell me the System Version, the Processor and the Memory.

Then go to Macintosh HD, then go to Applications folder inside that is another folder called Utilities inside that is an application called Disk Utility. Double click on that and when it opens you will see your hard drive (usually Macintosh HD) on the left. Highlight your hard drive and click on Verify Disk on the right. If that is OK click on Repair Permissions. If Verify Disk is not OK try to Repair.

I didn’t get the graphic. Is the site published, have you checked it on other computers? Can I look?

Hi, as mentioned in my previous reply I solved the problem myself by changing the publishing sttings on iWeb. The prognosis given on this occasion regarding the operating system did unfortunately solve my problem. Therefore I will request a refund.
Expert:  Mike replied 5 years ago.
I did not get any reply that you had solved it. Where did you post that? Of course we would have got to that I was making sure everything else was OK first.
