Ipod Specialist :

Hi

Ipod Specialist :

I am Vinod. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.

Ipod Specialist :

Could you please tell me what is the exact error message you get in iTunes?

Customer :

The message I get in iTunes is: Please contact iTunes support to complete this transaction.

Ipod Specialist :

What are you trying to do?

Ipod Specialist :

Are you trying to create an account or buy something from itunes?

Customer :

I'm trying to review and verify my account information so that I can use iTunes to make purchases.

Customer :

I have never used my Apple ID to make purchases with iTunes before.

Ipod Specialist :

Did you get an email to verify your account?

Customer :

Yes and I have verified it, but I still recieve that message every time.

Ipod Specialist :

ok

Ipod Specialist :

Give me one moment please

Customer :

Alright.

Ipod Specialist :

Have you entered the credit card/debit card info?

Customer :

Yes.

Ipod Specialist :

Is it within the credit limit and within the expiry date?

Customer :

Yes.

Ipod Specialist :

Let's go to this website https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ . Click on "manage your account" first and try to enter your account information.

Ipod Specialist :

How is it going?

Customer :

There is a green check mark under it saying "verified."

Ipod Specialist :

ok.

Ipod Specialist :

Let's now open itunes and try to download a free app.

Customer :

After i input my account information, it tells me to review my account information. Every time that I have done this, I review it, then accept, and it gives me the message telling me to contact iTunes support.

Ipod Specialist :

Let's try this. Open itunes. To the left side of itunes, click on itunes store. Now, almost to the upper right corner of the itunes website, you will find your account name being listed or a "sign in" button. Click on your account name and then on "View account"

Customer :

It shows a "sign in" button and when I click it, it tells me to input my account information. After doing this, it displays the same message telling me to review my account information.

Ipod Specialist :

Give me one moment please

Customer :

Alright.

Ipod Specialist :

are you trying to create account from the computer or from an ipad/iphone?

Ipod Specialist :

If you are trying to create the account from the ipad/iphone, try to verify account from the computer. Rather if you are using the computer now, let me know of the itunes version. To find the itunes version - open itunes. Click on the Help menu at the top. Help > About itunes and that will give the version
