Resolved Question:

I have a Logitech invisible optic cordless mouse which has worked fine with my MacBook for several years. All of a sudden the computer can not find the mouse. I replaced the batteries and hit the reset button - still no connection. Do I need to replace the mouse?

Turn off the Mouse and Unplug the USB Receiver of mouse from your Mac. Then turn off your Mac and Turn it back on and replug the receiver. Then hold down the pair/reset (if any) button on both Receiver and Mouse at same time for 10 seconds. Does that worked ?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I goofed. The USB receiver was not attached. My mistake - I owe you $38. Plugged in the receiver and it works just like it used to.

Well, that was a quick fix. I'm glad you got it working again !

Best Regards,
Ashik
