Resolved Question:

I have a new computer and recently bought a new album from iTunes - when I connected my iPod to sync it my whole library of music was wiped except for the new music. Fortunately my old computer was just working and I was able to download the library back from that. I now don't know about trying to add anymore to the iPod. Can you help please?

Mac Extraordinaire :

- Connect your iPod to your New computer
- Open iTunes
- Click on your iPod icon in iTunes
- Then check Manually Manage Music
- Then you need to create a playlist, put all the songs you want to add in your iPod, then under the iPod click on Music, and you will see "Autofill from:" below the window.
- Select the playlist you created and click on autofill.

JACUSTOMER-xnceun5j- :

I do have the original music back from the old computer but am nervouse about connecting iPod to the new one as am concerned it will wipe the library off again. Has it anything to do with the authorisation fo the computer and the previous one? Also I get a message when I go into iTunes about compatibility and the window appears in very large print - is this to do with Windows 7?

Mac Extraordinaire :

If you follow my directions, it will not delete anything off the iPod.
