Welcome to JustAnswer.com, I would be happy to help!
Make sure iDVD is shutdown.Go into your User folder (sometimes known as a Home folder, its where your Pictures, Music and Documents folders are kept).Once there go into Library>Preferences and locate the filescom.apple.iDVD.plistcom.apple.iApps.plistDrag them to your trash. Finally go back into your user folder and go into Library>CachesOnce in that folder erase everything inside it. Highlight everything and drag it to the trash. Don't be alarmed at the amount of files, you are not losing any valuable info!Restart your computer and load up iDVD. Finger's crossed it should now work!Let me know how you get on.
