I am trying to import pix from camera ex share z885 to apple

I am trying to import pix from camera: ex share z885 to apple computer. all goes well until I choose a photo to import and i get a message saying can't import I think this is because I have a video on the camera that I took. i don't want to lose the video.....how can I accomplish the import?

Which mac do you have and what kind of memory card does the camera use?

I have a a macbook 10.6.4 and a sundisk 1.0gb memory card

Is it a MacBook or a MacBook pro. The pro is AL. If it's a pro then you can take the sd card out and put it in the MacBook pro, this will by pass you camera connection issues.

Just to make sure all the pictures import right? Also what happens when you try to use the Kodak software to copy off the camera?

To copy/import to you computer using the kodak software. This will copy the pictures and video from the camera.

I have had no problem in the pat importing. Now whatever I select gives me the error message.

the ? is : camera problem or computer problem....I think the former.

I would think it's a mix of the two. The software doesn't see the video correct and the camera records the video in a odd way.
