I have a Mac Mini running on OSX 10.4.11. Processor is 1.5

Resolved Question:

I have a Mac Mini running on OSX 10.4.11. Processor is 1.5 GHz Power PC G4. Memory 512 MB ddr SDram. I have just bought 4 Iphone. My computer tells me I need to get up to 10.5 in order to use itunes. I have purchased OSX Snow leopard. Can I put this on my computer or am I faced with buying a new computer with the Intel chip? Melinda

Sorry you can't install Snow Leopard on Power PC Machine. To install Snow Leopard you have to buy a Intel Mac. But you can install 10.5 Leopard on your Mac. Just buy the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard discs from Apple or from other store like BestBuy or from online like ebay.com, Amazon.com etc and install it. Also, i'd recommend you to upgrade your Mac RAM into 1GB or more. You can buy RAM from here : http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/apple/memory/
