Customer Question

I finished logging and now I want to batch capture. It cues up then rocks and rolls three times and then aborts. It says it can't read the time code. I've been capturing off my Sony Z1U for years. What do you think is happening. Thanks Wayne.

Mike the MacMedic :

Try changing it to Uncontrollable Device

JACUSTOMER-gate3fog- :

I will try it.

JACUSTOMER-gate3fog- :

How do I do that?

JACUSTOMER-gate3fog- :

How do I change to uncontrollable device?

Mike the MacMedic :

In Log & Capture/Capture Settings/Device Control

JACUSTOMER-gate3fog- :

Yes, that's where I used to find it. I'm in FC pro 6.0.1 Where is it hiding?

JACUSTOMER-gate3fog- :

Since you have abandoned me -- I have left the site unsatisfied. By the way I know I can do a capture now, I don't want to operate that way. So a non controllable device is not the solution i am looking for.

Mike the MacMedic :

Right there on the Capture window:

Sorry for the delay I was trying to take a picture of it. I didn’t abandon you. There must be something about the way those tapes were made you won‘t have to do that with all just the troublesome ones.
