Problems with imac screen. Keeps going black. Have to fiddle

Resolved Question:

Problems with imac screen. Keeps going black. Have to fiddle with cable leading to router. Tried replacing cable but it made no difference. Very annoying. Every time it is on sleep I have problems with screen recovery and sometimes it goes black even when I am typing.
