Did you got any discs (Mac OS X ) with that Mac ?

yes but i dont know which one to use...i have panther discs 1...2...3..Apple hardward test disc...keynote disc...mac OS xcode tools...mac OS X fundamentals and a ilife '04 disc

You can use the Mac OS X Panther Disc 1 to reset the password XXXXX the Account.

  • Insert the Mac OS X installation disc 1 to your Mac.
  • Turn off your Mac from Apple menu.
  • Turn it back on and immediately hold down the C key on your Keyboard.
  • This should boot your Mac directly into Mac OS X installation screen
  • Choose your Language and click Next button.
  • Choose Reset Password from the Utilities or Installer menu
  • Select your Mac OS X hard disk volume.Select the user name of the administrator account
  • Enter a new password XXXXX Click Save.
  • Restart your Mac
