Hello, I may be able to help you with this issue but I need some information first.

Were you using the iPhoto program?

Or, did you drag the files to the Trash Can on the Dock?

no i was using the i photo program on my computer

Hi Leann,
So, the iPhoto program has its own trash. You can find it on the left side of the iPhoto window.

Select the Trash.
Then select the photos you want to bring back.
Then choose Photos Menu > Restore to iPhoto Library.

See this image to locate the trash in iPhoto:

where do i find the photo menu >to restore photos

Leann
The menus are across the top of the Maintosh screen. When running iPhoto, from left to right, you will see: the Apple Menu, iPhoto, File, Edit, Photos, Events, Share, View, Window and Help.

You can also drag the photos from the trash back to the Events icon on the left side. That will restore them too.
