yes i left the compueter on overnight and this morning it will not start

i connected the power cord snd first it was grren and not any more
i checked the bttery behind the comuter and 4 green lights are on

it is Mac Book Pro 17 inch and I think it is late 2008 or early 2009

We can try to reset the System Management Controller of your MBP. May be it'll help..


  1. Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
  2. Remove the battery (Click Here)
  3. Press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds.
  4. Release the power button.
  5. Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
  6. Turn it on..

Does it starts up ?

it does not start up
Mag safe power adaptor does not light up

Sounds like your Mac's Power Supplier is fried or it might be the logic board that is fried. Since this is a hardware issue, you have to take it to the Apple store. I hope your Mac is still under Apple care, if so they will fix it for free !
