My home computer (Mac Air OS X 10.5.8) had a one day loss of internet connection from Time Warner cable (Roadrunner service). After that my mobile me will not light-up the Sync button for syncing to my online "cloud." My Mac computer at work (G4) syncs fine. All my other internet functions are working. My account type is Full Member since Sep 3, 2009. When I try to check Synchronize with Mobile Me, the check disappears when I release the mouse botton. Under iDisk, I see IDisk Sync: Off. When I click Start, I get the prompt Unable to turn on iDisk syncing. Please check your MobileMe username and password XXXXX the MobileMe Systems Preferences pane. My MobileMe username is XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX When I click on SystemPreferences I get a MacMe icon saying Version 5.2(5.2). When I click Sync and then the Advanced button no Registered Computers are listed. When I click on Register this computer, the thinking wheel turns for many tens of minutes, but neve completes the process. Help!

Hello, my name is Dan.
The first thing I suggest is a restart. Sometimes that such things just right, and sometimes it doesn't.
After that I recommend repairing the permissions with Disk Utility found in Applications/Utilities. It looks like this.graphic
Do those two things and see if it helps. If not, there are ways to make it work.
