Ok, on the ipod you will need to reset the network connections. This is done by tapping settings >General > Reset > Reset Network connections. This will clear all the network connections out, then restart the device. That is done by holding the sleep switch for a few seconds, then on screen dialog will show up just slide it off, then turn it back on. Then reconnect to the network.
