I have no idea what I did, but when I open Safari, I no longer

Resolved Question:

I have no idea what I did, but when I open Safari, I no longer get a large window. If I try to click the green + button, all it does is move the window down and to the left. What did I do and how do I fix it? I want to be able to see the whole window without having to scroll.

We can try to reset the preference of Safari, So quit Safari and follow the steps below

Go to Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/ folder and trash "com.apple.safari.plist"

Then go to Macintosh HD/Users/[yourname]/Library/Preferences and trash "com.apple.safari.plist"

After removing the preferences, restart your Mac, Open Safari... (Resetting the safari will remove your saved usernames and passwords, cookies and history)

Ashik

I quit safari, went to MacintoshHD, Library, Preferences and found no folder or file "com.apple.safari.plist"

Didn't see any com.apple.safari at all in fact.
Expert:  Ashik replied 6 years ago.
Spotlight it, i mean search the file with spotlight.

Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX trashed com.apple.safari.plist once and restarted, but that seems to have fixed the problem.

I appreciate the help!
