Hi,Dan, I was able to log on and now am emailing from my (formerly down) iBook, so now I am ready to do whatever is necessary to restore full functionality.
Dan here, you were supposed to let me know after you had done those things and you have, just not the way I expected.
If it is running good in safe mode then restart and hold no keys down.
This returns it to normal mode and if the repairs did their job then all is well.
