If you can send me the excel file with the chart the way you want it to appear in Word I will be happy to try to fix it fir you.
If you need instructions for posting the file please let me know.
Here is how to upload your file:
Go to http://www.wikisend.com/ , click the Browse button then select your file, then click the Upload File, wait until you get the download link, copy that link and then come back to this question page and paste it in your reply.
If the file has sensitive information let me know before you upload it.
Also I need to know if you want the pasted chart in Word to keep getting updated when the data changes in Excel, or do you want it as 'fixed' chart in Word.
Yes you need to upload each file separately, then copy its download link and paste it here. So I will need two links.
You will get the accept button after I have posted the 'answer'. These are only 'Info Request'.
No these links don't work, you must have copied the wrong links. Here is where the download link should be copied from:
You can also try uploading it at this site if you want.
Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX site is either busy or down at the moment. Not your fault. May be we should try this one instead:
Not to worry, go to this site then click the Upload button to select and upload your file.
Then copy the link as shown by the arrow
Great. I got both files. :)
Could not see any 'charts' in the files. Did you mean 'table' (charts are graphs in Excel). If so can you please identify the specific table in Excel that you want to copy by giving the cell references (e.g. from cell A1 through H12, etc), and in which page in Word you want to paste it.
Ok, here you go.
Please check it and let me know it needs any tweaking or if you have any questions.
Hope this is ok, and thank you for clicking Accept if you are satisfied with the assistance.
Thanks for the accept and bonus.
Sue Ann, you are asking "how do i get my document?"
Why, weren't you able to download the file using the link that I sent you? Or what meant by that is how to do it yourself on your own?
