Can I have the internal hard drive on the new mac mini 2.53ghz, with a seagate barracuda 7200.12, 7200 rpm hard drive, with out any problems. I need the ability for video and digital photo work.

Yes, you can. But Apple Geniuses will not do it. And if you do it, it may void your Warranty. Best bet is to find an Apple Authorized Service Provider, not an Apple Store. They are able to work on warranty Macs and do upgrades.

But the basic answer is yes, you can upgrade to a larger/faster drive in that Mac.
