Hello, and thank you for asking your question,
I am Sr. Mac Tech Support Specialist, Terry, glad to assist you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Could you provide me with the following information, so I can better assist you with your technical question:
• What version of Mac OS X are you using on your Mac?
(i.e. "Mac OS X 10.5.6 or Mac OS X 10.4.11, etc" -)
( If not sure how to check version of Mac OSX system- Click on Apple icon (Apple Menu) on upper left corner of screen- from the menu select "About this Mac" - you will see your version in the popup window)

• Have you been attempting to access email through the built-in Mac OS X Mail application?

Looks like a stamp icon on the Dock to access that application

Thanks for your reply.

Here is what I would like you to try:

From within Mail >Preferences, using your current Yahoo Plus email account and password,
make sure you use these mail server settings

Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com

•Under Accounts if you already have a yahoo mail account setup that you have been attempting to use, then just change the incoming and outgoing server address with the one provided above.
Also, still keep the port: 465, for using authenticatio.

Let me know if this helps, I will be watching for your reply, to see if this works.

Thanks!

-Terry
