i want to connect my older Mac G4 desktop running OS 9.2 to my home network. I have a Linksys WRT5GS broadband router. this works great with the windows computers in the house, but I want the Mac to be able to use this network as well. How do I do this? what hardware/software do I need to make this connection??? Many Thanks, Pete.

Hello my name is Dan.
The first thing you need to do is tell me what the speed and model are.

PowerMac G4...533 MHz dual processor.

I have a single 533 but alas the power supply went and it sits in a closet.
That machine just requires an 802.11b airport card, not the Airport Extreme card. They can be had on eBay for around 30.00. Then just follow the instructions in you users manual.
Or you can come back here and ask me.
