I keep getting a flash safari plug-in quit unexpectedly I

Resolved Question:

I keep getting a "flash safari plug-in quit unexpectedly" I have downloaded snow leopard but I was having an issue before that. any thoughts? I have tried downloading flash but its not helping.

I purchased snow leopard 10.6 at the apple store and I am using safari 4.0.3. I have uninstalled and re-installed flash several times to no avail. Everypage I go displays this message "Flash player(safari internet plug-in) quit unexpectedly"

Ok. We are going to do this :

Install Flash Player --------> Uninstall Flash Player with "Flash Player Uninstaller"--------> Reinstall Flash Player
  • Download latest version of Flash Player from here and install it. Restart your Mac
  • Click Here to download the "Flash Player Uninstaller", then close all browsers, chats etc and uninstall FP.
  • Then install Flash Player again...

Hi,
There is a chance that the problem is related to your current user account..So we can try to create new account and see if that helps.

Create new user Account
  • Click on the Apple menu and choose System Preferences, and click Accounts.
  • If some settings are dimmed, click the lock icon and type your administrator name and password.
  • Click the Add (+) button, located below the list of accounts, to create a new account.
  • Select a type of account from the New Account pop-up menu.
  • Now you can see some types of accounts in there; Administrator,Standard,Managed with Parental Controls, Sharing Only etc
  • Choose Administrator from it.
  • Enter a name for the account
  • Type the user’s password XXXXX the Password XXXXX Verify fields.
  • Click Create Account.
  • Now restart your Mac and log-in with that account.

If the problem is solved with new account then delete the old account...
Before deleting old account copy all important files from it..
So goto ~/Users/[youroldaccount]/ and copy all important files like Pictures, iTunes music, Documents and everything except Library folder into a safe place.

Then Goto System Preferences/Accounts, from the left column select the old account and press the minus (-) button. You'll be warned before deleting the account. If you can see a option to keep files then choose it and continue.

Don't delete any files..
