I click on iTunes and and I get the error message, the folder

I click on iTunes and and I get the error message, "the folder you have iTunes on is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder".

I am the sys admin for this computer and created a login account for my daughter so she can sync her itouch...and having this problem

What OS are you running? ie. 10.4.11 or 10.5.6

If you click on the Apple icon in the top left and choose about this mac. It will tell you the version number.
