I have a macbook using image browser, Iphoto, and a cannon 480 printer, my pictures are all coming out with what looks like a fog over the picture, plus people and objects on the right are not showing up in the picture. How do I correct this flaw.

Hi I am Ashik. I think i can help you
We can try to reset the printer settings into default...

  1. Goto System Preferences from the Apple menu or from the Dock.
  2. Open Print & Fax ( you can also open Print & Fax from the View menu)
  3. Control-click (Right click) on list of printers on the left side of the window, then choose "Reset printing system" from the contextual menu. If you don't see a list of printers, Control-click on the text "Click + to add a printer or fax" and select "Reset printing system..."

Only click ACCEPT after it worked...
