How do you install memory on iMac 5.1

How do you install memory on iMac 5.1?
Those two clips fold down and away from the chip and the card will come loose. Once the Clips are open you can lift the card out. AS you put a card back press hard and the clips will come up. Just click the tabs in place.

I did fold the clips down and away but the cards stayed where they were. Am I supposed to use tweezers to get the cards out?
No you don't need tweezers but you have to start with the back most SIMM card. It will tilt back slightly then you can get to the next one and so on. The back is the side of the SIMM without chips.

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
In order to try this I have to shut down, so I'll get back to you later.

The SIMM has chips on both sides - it's 1Gb. The second thing is, the clips don't fold down, they just come up and stay there, at 90 degrees to the cards.
There is no "back most SIMM", they are stacked one on top of the other with about 1/16th" between them.

I will try this and get back to you, but it is very much like what I've been trying so far. The problem is, they don't say how to get the old card out, only how to put a new card in. They call them "ejector clips", but so far I haven't got them to eject anything!
I have to turn the computer off for now.
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Yes! That was the correct instruction set and the fact that they called it an "ejector clip" give me the clue to open it with a little snap.
That causes the cards to eject neatly and so we have a happy ending.
Thanks for hanging in there with me, Bob.
Best regards,
Russell
