I do not know what more info I can give give. I purchased your printer through
the Apple Store here in Santa Monica. They inform me they will offer no help at all.
I now seem to be you taking the same tack. I only get more requests for info. I obviously cannot pay any money just to be asked for more info. I made a mistake
buying this printer from Apple recently, I can see that.

Make sure your printer is on and connected. It's a good idea to print a test sheet to make sure your printer works.

Go to the Canon Site and download the driver for Mac OS X
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=334&modelid=17160
Double Click on the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.

Next open PRINT & FAX in your System Preferences and add a printer. Follow the instructions on the screen.
