The program said for 10.5 or later, I have I Mac 10.4.11

Download OnyX and install it. Run the Application. As you move through the options it will get you suggestions about what to remove and how to improve the performance of your computer.

I downloaded and installed the program, but it was blank when I tried to open it????

Something must have gone wrong with the download. I suggest that you try the download again. Make sure you choose the Mac 10.4 version.
