hi, im under the impression that someone is utilizing spy

hi, i'm under the impression that someone is utilizing spy ware to tap into my lap top and cell to obtain all of my personal information. what would be the best solution?

It's always good to be on your guard. Being on a Mac is much better that being on a PC for spyware.
Your cell phone and your computer are two totally separate systems. Someone would have to have the resources of homeland security to take over both of them.
Spyware works by installing an application that runs in the background of your computer and "phones home" with sensitive information when you type it into your computer. To see everything that is running on your computer open your FINDER and navigate to APPLICATIONS - UTILITIES and then open ACTIVITIES MONITOR. You will see a window of everything running on your computer. Some you will recognize and others you will not. This is my list;
