After a regular software update yesterday, I turned on my computer this morning and find the finder window popping up every 40-60 seconds. I ran the disk utility, shut down ad restarted 2X, and I found a console log that says the finder is crashing each time the window pops up. Any idea what is going one?

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue,

There is a possibility your issue may be related to the Stuffit Preference pane (icons are called "panes" in this window) within System Preferences.
Try these steps to see if this can resolve your issue:

• Click on your Apple Menu from the Apple Menu bar

• From the drop down menu, select System Preferences.

• From within System Preferences, locate and click on the Stuffit pane
and then the AVR tab and turn it off to Stop it.

• Close the window and and reboot your Mac.
