I have a MacBook and accidently removed my documents folder from my tool bar. One white cloud and a poof sound. I am desperate to retrieve this. It is not in the trash. I am a true novice at this. Help !!!
Welcome to Macs!!

You have not lost it...Do not worry.

On the bottom left of your Dock--click on finder.

You will then see on the left a piture of a house and your name under PLACES

WHen you click on that you will see a folder called DOCUMENTS

Drag that folder down NEXT to the TRASH CAN.

There....your document folder has returned.

Happy New Year!!

Kevin
