Hello again,

Can you tell me what version of Mac OS X you are using (Apple Menu->About This Mac)?

What options did you see in the Preferences dialog box that I pointed you toward?

Thanks! Kind regards,

My apologies - the instructions I gave you are for 10.5

In 10.4.11, you'll have to manually add the Documents link again. To do this,

1) In the Finder, choose Go menu->Home
2) Drag the Documents folder in the right-hand pane into the list on the left, making sure that a horizontal line appears where you drag it (you may need to drag it to the bottom of the list). It will add a shortcut to the list, and you should be all set.

Let me know if you have any problems with this. Kind regards,
