I have a new computer and want to sync up my ipod to the itunes

Customer Question

I have a new computer and want to sync up my ipod to the itunes store but am afraid that if I do this my ipod will be erased. The new itunes store on my new computer does not show any of the downloads from the previous computer.

Synching usually means making sure your iTunes profile matches your ipod.

So you need to have it no synch, and you manualy manage the songs.

1. Connect your iPod to the computer and open iTunes (if it doesn't open automatically)

2. In the Source list, on the left, click on the iPod under DEVICES.

3. For iTunes 7, under the Summary tab, scroll down and check "Manually manage music and videos.".

Thats it.
