Airport has turned itself off on my macbook pro, and I cannot

Customer Question

Airport has turned itself off on my macbook pro, and I cannot get it back on my wireless network. I am getting an error message that says "your network setting was changed by another application." Can you help me get it back on?

GreetingsCustomer
In the Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ folder delete the following:

com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
NetworkInterfaces.plist
preferences.plist
com.apple.nat.plist

You will have to re-configure all your network settings since you will have deleted the preferences settings.
In addition, I suggest you go to Preferences -> Security, and check the box that says "require a password XXXXX unlock each system preferences pane". This should prevent whatever is changing your settings from doing that.
If you need additional assistance please let me know.

I neglected to mention that you will need to reboot after deleting the preference files listed in my previous post.
