Customer Question

I had to reinstall my system, OS 10.5.5 and now my external harddrives are locked and I cannot unlock them. Any ideas?

When you say your disks are locked, what does that mean specifically? Can you open them up? Can you mount them? Can you see them?

When you reinstalled did you do an archive and install an upgrade or a fresh installation?

I think it's a basic permissions issue, but I'm not 100% Sure just yet.

Thank you! After I used BatChmod I had to run Drive Genius and repair the drive. It worked, all drives are again accesseble and I can deliver the photos to the client! Thank you very much!
