I have a MacPro about two years old (I think it was the first version with the Intel chip) with a 23" Cinema HD Screen. I leave it on mostly and this morning I went to use it. I moved the mouse and the cursor was frozen. I couldn't reach the force quit option on the menu so I shut it down. I let it rest a minute then turned it on. It sounds like the computer itself came on but the screen is black. I cant seem to get it to do anything. Any suggestions? Thank you. Scott
Hi.

Could you try to reset the PRAM for me?

Do this:

Shut down the Mac.

Find and hold down the following 4 keys, all of them at the same time:
OPTION
COMMAND (Cloverleaf/Apple key)
P
R

Turn on the Mac while keeping the kerys held down

Wait for the third Chime as the Mac tries to start.

Let the keys up and let the Mac boot normally.
