Hi,

Are you talking about Checkpoint's secure Client?

Let us know

Thanks

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
yes
Expert:  Claws224 replied 8 years ago.

Ok,

Secure client has it own uninstall program/script which is located in the Applications/ Check Point SecureClient folder,The file you are looking for is called Uninstall SecureClient.

So at this point you may be better off if you want a complete removal to reinstall Secure Client then reboot and run the uninstall script.

Let us know if you need more info.

Thanks

cannot find uninstall in applications i removed as much as i could to the trash and ten deleted trash
Expert:  Claws224 replied 8 years ago.

Ok

That is why I suggested reinstalling it so you could use the uninstall script, Other wise we will need to find some other folders and preferences files.

Let me know if this is not an option.

Thanks

it will not let me re install gives me a message "secure client is already installed on this machine please remove the previous installation
Expert:  Claws224 replied 8 years ago.

Ok,

In that case can you do a spotlight search for CPsrsc-50 and let me know if you find a folder by that name, If not search for scuninstall.command

Thanks

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
i do find a folder like that
Expert:  Claws224 replied 8 years ago.

Ok,

first tell me if it contains a file called scuninstall.command, If it does then try launching it and see if it will uninstall the program, If not just trash the CPsrsc-50 file and then try to install so you can run the uninstaller.

Thanks
