Is Office 2004 for Mac supported in Leopard

Yes, it is supported and will work just as well in Leopard as in Tiger.

If you have an Intel Mac however, you may find that Office 2008 will be a bit faster for you as it is a Universal Program, but 2004 will still work under Rosetta.
