Hi Eric

Hi Eric
I managed to fix the entourage and it is working perfectly.
I paid you the 15 dollars.
I have another issue
In Word, my formatting palette flashes across the screen when I try to open it but it does not stay on the screen for me to use. It disappears under the bottom right hand corner of the screen. When I press to close the formatting palette it flashes back up across the screen.

Ok,

The easiest way to start would be to locate the word.plist file and remove it then empty the trash.

So open your finder and browse to the Library, Preferences folder and look for the com.microsoft.Word.plist file and drag it to the trash.

Then empty the trash and reboot.

Once the machine is back up launch word and see if the palette is working correctly.

Let me know

Thanks

Hi Eric

Did as you suggested and no joy.

The palette is fleetingly visible as it scoots off the screen to bottom left but it won't stay on the desktop

Hmmm,

Ok could you open applescript and then type the following into the script window.

tell application "Microsoft Word"
tell command bar "formatting palette"
set visible to true
set {top, left position} to {100, 700}
end tell
end tell

Then run the script and see if word will launch correctly.

Let me know

Thanks
