  • lexus gs400: i believe my starter is going out on my 1999 lexus
    i believe my starter is going out on my 1999 lexus gs 400 93k sometimes it will start sometimes especially after it gets hotter it will not. turn the key to ignition on and it will dimm the dash lights and just give a solid click. if i mess with the ignition back and forth alittle it will start but getting worse. when it cools it will start no problem. starter is under manifold stupid japs can't believe i hav to take the G.D intake off. any thoughts from anyone??? any torque specs on the intake ??? and is there any sequenceing pattern to tighten down?? or is it just middle outward.

    Should I repair a PO441 code on a 1995 lexus ls400 or just leave it? The car runs perfectly and has 450,000km. This code has come on before and I have ignored it. The last time was about 5 months ago. I don't know how serious this is or if the car might strand me? Thanks!

    Will the emergency key for the 1997 ls 400 unlock the valet lock for the trunk ? The valet lock I'm talking about is referred to as the main switch.) I have stuff in my trunk that I NEED to get out and I lost the master key. We can't find the emergency key currently but thought maybe we could purchase another emergency key since the car is not drive-able enough to get it to the dealer to have a new master key transponder programmed. Even though we were willing to buy a new key, we can't get it programmed. Would an unprogrammed master key unlock the main switch valet lock that is next to the trunk opening lever on the dash?
