Customer Question

Security light flashing and IS250 won't start.
JA: Does the light flash, blink or stay solid? Have you tried to reset the security system?
Customer: It flashes after I hit the unlock button. Don't know how to reset security system
JA: What is the model/year of your Lexus?
Customer: 2012
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No, not yet. All I have done is unlocked and tried to start.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Actually I have to table this discussion as I unexpectedly have to run out the door for something else. I will have to take this on later.

If you have a spare key please try this first .

But first disconnect the battery for 10 minutes ,reconnect lock all doors and then unlock with the keyfob .jump inside try and start no start try spare key .no start and light still on and flashing the system is refusing your key due to a malfunction with in the system.

Here you will need a mobile keysmith to check for malfunction codes in the security system , then if possible reprogram your key's..

Most case reprogramming your key will fix this issue .

Need further assistance with this issue then please get back to me with the reply box below .
After rating there is no further cost for any other question relating this issue .
Kind regards Greg
